Monsters Among Us and Other Cool #Halloween Cocktails

Halloween night is nearly upon us and whether you are gearing up for a fun celebration with friends or simply seeking an adult “treat” to savor, our friends at Ketel One Vodka have prepared some spooky-good drinks for Rural Mom readers.

Enjoy and as always, remember to drink responsibly and stay safe and have fun on Halloween!

Monsters Among Us

1 oz. Ketel One Vodka
0.5 oz. Cognac
1 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
0.5 oz. simple syrup
0.25 oz. egg white(s)
3 dash(es) aromatic bitters
 
How to mix
Glass:  coupe
1.       Combine first five ingredients in a mixing glass.
2.       Vigorously shake with ice and double-strain into a partially sugar-rimmed couple glass.
3.       Squeeze the oils from a grapefruit peel across the surface of the drink, and then discard the peel.
4.       Top with three dashes of bitters.

 

Ketel One Oranje Kiss of Fire Drink Recipe



Ketel One Oranje Kiss of Fire

1 oz. Ketel One Oranje
0.25 oz. Bourbon
2.5 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
0.5 oz. simple syrup
 
How to mix
Glass: rocks
1.       combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice.
2.       Shake well.
3.       Strain into an ice filled rocks glass.
4.       Garnish with orange slices.

1.25 oz. Ketel One Citroen
0.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz. maple syrup
3 dashes aromatic bitters
5 oz. Belgian-style white ale
How to mix
Glass: highball
1.       Combine first four ingredients in a mixing glass.
2.       Shake with ice and strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
3.       Top with white ale.
4.       Garnish with a lemon wheel.


Ketel One Midnight Rain Drink Recipe


Ketel One Midnight Rain

1 oz. Ketel One Vodka
0.25 oz. yellow French herbal liquer
0.5 oz. elderflower liqueur
0.5 oz. fresh lime juice
3 pieces blueberries
3 pieces blackberries
How to mix
Glass: rocks
1.       Lightly muddle 3 blueberries and 3 blackberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker
2.       Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice.
3.       Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
4.       Garnish with a mixed blueberry and blackberry spear.
