Holiday Craft Idea: Duct Tape DIY Crayon Roll

Every holiday season I look for simple craft idea suitable for stocking stuffers or to have on hand for impromptu gifts.  This year I found a new favorite in the Scotch Duct Tape DIY Crayon Roll.

It’s super simple to create and makes an adorable present for any child on your holiday gift list. The ideal size for on-the-go, the DIY Crayon Roll is fully customizeable.  Match your tape selection to complement a coloring book and you’ll create a coveted, fashionable present your recipient will appreciate.

Putting the craft together is a matter of sizing and cutting strips to form the pouch and pocket:

Then all the strips are put together (with a little ribbon) to form a crayon holder:

Roll it up, tie the ribbon, and the Scotch Tape DIY Crayon Holder is ready to gift.  The entire process takes only a few minutes from start to finish.

I plan to make one to gift to each child at our family gathering this holiday season.  Rather than purchasing small crayon boxes, I picked up a few 25 cent larger count boxes and will simply choose a nice color assortment for each crayon roll.  I think the kids will have fun comparing what colors they received.
