Disney Doorables are here!

Disney fans, August is an a-doorable month! Moose Toys has just released the first wave of Disney Doorables that I predict will be on the top of Christmas wish lists this year. Seriously, the Beauty and the Beast Disney Doorables playset is already penned on mine!

Thanks to my friends at Disney and Moose Toys, I got a sneak peek of some of the Disney Doorables and they are every bit as adorable and then-some as you imagine they might be. I instantly fell in love with the clever, detailed design and the big bright sparkly eyes of each character.

With over 80 to collect in the first wave, Disney Doorables are the first micro collectibles that feature glass glitter eyes giving them a distinctive look. Some of the characters even have a bit more glitter, like Tinkerbell, adding to their overall charm.

Disney fans will be able to build their own worlds centered around their favorite characters with stackable, modular playsets that are compatible with the Disney Doorables figures. The playsets, each with their unique door and features remind me a bit of the doorways from Monsters Inc. There’s plenty of intrigue and whimsy built into this new toy that will appeal to every Disney fan big and small.

Behind every door in the collection, there is a surprise! The first collection of Disney Doorables includes plenty of fan favorites including characters from:

Kids can check off what Disney Doorables they own on the included checklist, which also uses a colored dot system to identify the rarity of each figurine.

I know my granddaughter will love this collection, too, and I’ll be sharing them with her soon.  One of the things I love the best about Disney Doorables is they are small enough for my granddaughter to carry a few of her favorites around.  It’s also neat that we’ll be able to trade and share figures from the collection to complete our sets (as a mega-Disney fan, you can bet I’ll be definitely adding to my collection soon!)

Not sure what’s in store for the next round, but I’m sure we’ll definitely see more soon.  I’m hoping Under the Sea, Coco, Mulan and Inside Out will be among sets in the next launch.  Who would you love to see?

I’m going to collect them, too, Deborah! They are super cute and I love that they are small, so they can easily be collected without taking up too much space. They just make you smile, and that’s always a good thing!

We have been collecting these, we would love to find a forum to trade as we’ve gotten a few duplicates but no luck yet. Love these though!

If I find one, I’ll be sure to leave the link here! I’ve seen a few people selling their extras on eBay but haven’t seen a forum pop up yet either.
