What Do You Want to Know About Pinterest?

When I first discovered Pinterest, I was captivated. The sentiment hasn’t subsided.

Not familiar with Pinterest? Pinterest is a virtual pinboard where you post images you want to collect or remember. Very similar to the corkboard style you might have on your wall at home currently hosting pictures, greeting cards, and magazine pages.

In other words, it is an amazing electronic visual display of goodies just waiting to be tapped into and savored.

Naturally, I dove right in and began devouring every craft, art, recipe, and oogly-googly great picture of creative ideas that inspired my DIY soul. I even found plenty of visuals that made my nerdy side pin with delight.

Though I’m adept with technology and got into the groove of pinning on Pinterest quite quickly, there’s still a lot of the Pinterest world I have yet to explore. So, getting my hands on a copy of Pinterest for Dummies opened up a whole new pin world, immediately deepening my appreciation and understanding this enchanting social medium.

Pinterest for Dummies is a step-by-step guide that takes you from getting started with Pinterest all the way to promoting and connecting with power pinners. I immediately gravitated to the “Using Community Features” and “Finding Ways to Use Pinterest” chapters with are chock full of answers and ideas.

Things that I had over-looked, like embedding pins into a blog post (see chicks below!) are now second nature, thanks to the simple instructions and advice I found in Pinterest for Dummies. I also gained so much insight from the highlighted power pinner section and the studies on companies who are using Pinterest effectively.
