Our family just screened PAWS OF FURY: THE LEGEND OF HANK. It’s a wonderful film for family movie night full of mayhem, laughs, and heart-warming moments.
Really fun to hear some of our favorite actors like Ricky Gervais, Gabriel Iglesias, and Samuel L. Jackson voice some of the cute characters in this animation. That always brings a little something “extra” to a viewing as we enjoy seeing how each person takes shape as a animated animal.
The whole cats vs dogs element of the film is really cute, And the endearing lessons in the film about the importance of community, friendship, and setting aside our differences are quite awesome, too.
About the Film
In this fun-filled family adventure, hard-on-his-luck hound named Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map. With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day. The only problem… cats hate dogs!
The film features a sensational, all-star cast of voice talent, including Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, Mel Brooks, George Takei, Aasif Mandvi, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Yeoh and Samuel L. Jackson.
