One of the best things about Spring are the flowers the warm winds and rain usher in. It’s such a joy to step outside and see the world alive with vibrant colors. It’s truly a joy to bring those Spring beauties inside, too, which is why bouquets are one of my favorite gifts to give and receive! How do you decide which Mother’s Day bouquet to gift?
For me, I like to think about things like:
- the recipients favorite colors
- their favorite flowers
- what vase style and colors might look best in their home.
Additional things that are helpful to consider are:
- where do you visualize the bouquet being displayed? Smaller vases may be more suitable for a desktop, larger ones for a dining room table.
- does the recipient have pets? Hanging planters can sometimes be a better option for pet lovers or more compact style arrangements like ones in a cube rather than a tall vase as they are not as easily knocked over by a pet.
- what are their interests? Would they love a garden-style arrangement in a ceramic picture or would a modern flower sculpture be more suitable?

My favorite gift to give my mother is flowers she can put in her garden. She has a beautiful rose garden and I usually get her a new rose each year.

I have given many different things in the past–flowers, candy , jewelry. So I do not know what it my favorite.
I clean her house the weekend before I get it really good and do full spring cleaning. That way she can fully relax in a nice clean house. but I do it the weekend and before because I want to enjoy my mother’s day too!
I’ve given dozen of roses necklace lockets and taking my momma to dinner anything really that i get to spend time with her
