Inside SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY Rural Mom

Earlier this year, I had the awesome privilege of attending the SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY movie premiere. Sitting in the same theater with legends like George Lucas, Mark Hamill, and Billy Dee Williams along with all the cast and crew of the new film was mind-blowing!

While it upped my awe and excitement factors, as a 40+ year Star Wars fan, you know I certainly had my reservations about the film. Thankfully, I was more-than pleasant surprised to thoroughly enjoy watching the movie and I’m thrilled to now add it to my home collection. SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY is now available on Digital HD and arrives on Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™, DVD and On-Demand on September 25^th!

If you didn’t have the chance to see the film in theaters, you definitely need to pick up a copy for your weekend enjoyment. It’s true, it’s not the classic Harrison Ford Han Solo you’ll be enjoying, but honestly, it’s highly enjoyable to learn more about Han Solo’s early adventures and to watch Alden Ehrenreich bring young Han Solo to life. He does a splendid job of making the character his own while staying true to the essence of all we love about this scruffy nerf herder.

Lucasfilm’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” directed by Academy Award®–winning filmmaker Ron Howard—the creator of unforgettable films, such as “A Beautiful Mind,” “Apollo 13,” “Parenthood” and “Splash”—took moviegoers on this summer’s wildest ride with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy, Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich).
