Family Fun Time! ZOOTOPIA Coloring and Activity Sheets

Visiting the zoo is always one of our favorite family activities, heck, I think we even have our own petting zoo around here with our farm and our neighbors, too!  Animals are so much more than pets to us, they are family and friends.  So thinking of a mammal metropolis is quite fun and seems like a place our family would enjoy visiting.  And in just a few short weeks, we’ll be able to enter this magical world thanks to Disney Animation’s new film ZOOTOPIA arriving on the big screen March 4th!

Family Fun Time! ZOOTOPIA Coloring and Activity Sheets

Are you and your children excited to see this ZOOTOPIA, too?  After seeing the preview trailers, I’m positive it’s going to be a roaring-good-time and a new family favorite!

The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia,” a comedy-adventure directed by Byron Howard (“Tangled,” “Bolt”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph,” “The Simpsons”) and co-directed by Jared Bush (“Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero”), opens in theaters on March 4, 2016.

While you are (im)patiently waiting like our family is for ZOOTOPIA to come to your local theater, enjoy these crazy-fun coloring and activity sheets thanks to our friends at Disney.  I particularly love the “Animal Tracks” matching sheet, it’s great for teaching kids about shapes and sizes.  To add to the adventure, take them for a hike in your local preserve to see if you can spot some real animal tracks, too and watch how excited they get when they do!
