Rev Up Your Morning General Mills Mega Bloks Cereal Boxes

In our house, breakfast time is typically a hurried process as we are scrambling to get out the door to school or to participate in weekend activities.  When we do have a moment to pause, we like to make breakfast time family fun time with favorite foods or shaped pancakes and other treats.

General Mills wants to inspire you to turn the breakfast fun dial up a notch with their new Mega Blok series.  Check out the amazing video below and then scroll down for more details and information on participating cereal brands.

To bring the family fun to life, General Mills partnered with Maker Dad – Mark Frauenfelder – to rev up the breakfast table with a Rube Goldberg style contraption seen in this video made entirely of General Mills Mega Bloks cereal boxes:

Each participating brand of General Mills cereals including, Honey Nut Cheerios, Reese’s Puffs, Cocoa Puffs, Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, offers a free Mega Bloks car with a set of Hello Kitty and Power Rangers stickers and instructions to cut out a pattern to construct a cardboard jump from the cereal box.

In addition to the Mega Bloks freebies promoting fine motor skills and construction play patterns for children, the offer leverages hot properties adults love too, like Hello Kitty and Power Rangers. Kids and adults can customize their vehicles while enjoying a delicious breakfast.

How will you rev up your next breakfast with family fun?

What fun boxes! Cereal boxes and the toy surprises were always the best growing up. I’ll have to track these down for my son!

Looks like something my kids would enjoy! Creating a “mouse trap” with cereal boxes is a pretty cool idea, and those Mega Bloks Cars are something my boys would appreciate.

Oats are a great source of Vitamin B and they provide slow release energy which is perfect for the cold winter months. Oats are also great in curbing your mid-morning craving and keep you feel fuller for longer.
