Water and Weight Loss- Nutrisystem Update

Another pound down in my quest for a healthier me (33 to date)- thanks to Nutrisystem!  My continued, steady success also owes partial credit to good hydration.

My Nutrisystem plan encourages 6-8 glasses of water daily and even offers a nifty online tool to keep track.  The water helps cleanse my body of all the waste and as expected, also helps maintain a healthier me.

According to Livestrong.com water not only flushes toxins and keeps your system going, but drinking water may actually help increase the amount of calories you burn. (Read more here http://www.livestrong.com/article/223418-why-is-it-important-to-drink-water-when-dieting/ )

There are several theories/suggestions about how much water is enough for the average person, the general rule of thumb being eight 8 ounce glasses for a total of 64 ounces per day.

I generally don’t get tired of drinking water, it’s my first go-to, but when I want something a little different, I’ll brew up some caffeine-free tea or simply add a slice of lemon or lime to my water.
