Cost Plus World Market is featuring an original recording of “Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town” by Jessie J in their new Christmas video AND Jessie J will also be choosing the winning performance for the World Market’s Star Maker Song Contest.

To enter for a chance to win, all you need to do is create and upload a video of yourself singing “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.” Take a deep breath and belt out your favorite rendition of the song using your own musical accompaniment, the instrumental version with lyric found HERE, or feel free to sing a cappella. (Just keep in mind that submissions using non-original music and lyrics will not be eligible and video submissions need to be less than 1:45 minutes in length max.)
The World Market Star Maker Song Contest grand prize is a professional recording session with a top music producer plus a $1,000 World Market Gift Card!! The contest is open to U.S. and D.C. residents 13 years of age and older. You can enter online and find full contest rules and details HERE. Be sure to hurry, though, as this contest ends 12/8/18!
Videos submitted will be judged by a panel of qualified judges (90%) and by public voting (10%). The judges will score each video based on factors of Voice (60%), Performance (20%), and Creativity/Originality (20%). The Grand Prize winner will be selected by Jessie J.

Christmas music and tree trimming totally go hand-in-hand, don’t they? It’s always at the center of the holiday season celebrations. This is a very special tradition in our home, a time when everyone gathers together to decorate, share holiday stories and warm up with a cup of hot cocoa (or two!)
We often invite our family and friends over to help with our Christmas tree trimming celebrations. This year, my son’s best friend has just moved into her first apartment and will have her first Christmas tree. She’s always loved joining our family for the festivities so we thought the perfect housewarming gift for her would be to share the magic of our holidays with her.

This way, our gift recipient will have a convenient way to serve all the treats and hot cocoa during tree trimming time. You can also get creative with your holiday gift wrap. We used clear basket wrap and ribbon to secure the items we selected so we could place them atop the tray and create a more festive look.
