How Are You Feeling About Back-to-School? #SchoolHappens

Our kids go back to school early in my neck o’ the woods, but the transition phase seems to last for months.  It’s tough to get in the rhythm of early morning wake-ups, homework and after-school activities.  They all pile on so fast, it takes weeks just to catch your breath! We’re partnering with Staples to help share ideas to help you prep for back-to-school, while keeping your sanity intact… Read on!

How Are You Feeling About Back-to-School? #SchoolHappens

I generally have mixed emotions as we head into the back-to-school season.  On one hand, I’m sad to see our fun summer days and vacation time end.  On the other, I look forward to more structured days and to my kids achieving new milestones on their learning path.

One thing that’s always consistent – the back-to-school to-do list is certainly long!  One big stress reliever for our family, is to ensure the kids are equipped with all the supplies they need to start the school year.  It’s a confidence booster for them to be fully prepared and one less worry for me to not be scrambling last minute for school supplies.  This year (and every year,) we’ve relied on Staples for back-to-school shopping.  I always know that we’ll not only find what we need, but a great selection, the lowest price guarantee and fabulous deals. (PS: you can find all my back-to-school budgeting tips HERE.)

How are you feeling about back-to-school?

Staples CEO, Shira Goodman, recently visited a Staples store in Westborough, Massachusetts to check in with over two dozen mothers, fathers and children regarding the upcoming school year. Check out what they had to say and the surprise Shira Goodman had for them:

Of course, during back-to-school time, it also pays to check in with the experts. Our kids always have the pulse on what items and gear are perfect for their needs:

No matter how you are feeling about back-t0-school time, Staples associates are standing by, ready to help you prepare.  With over 1,300 stores and online shopping via Staples.com or their mobile app, you have easy access to purchase the supplies you need to ensure a great start to the new school year.  I love the option of shopping online, especially when purchasing essentials in bulk like pens, paper, ink and batteries.  It’s so nice to simply have everything delivered to my door, definitely a stress-reliever!

We’ve been back to school for almost a month now, and I have to say it’s been the best year so far. My daughter is loving school, so instead of dreading it, I’m having a really exciting time experiencing it through her eyes.

I started shopping in July and thought I was doing really well until I got the supply list and realized I was only 1/3 of the way there. LOL. It took some time and thankfully, I found some great deals, but I finished.

Staples rule! As a huge planner aficionado, I can never have enough planners, and my favorites change from month to month, there’s always that one planner that I HAVE to have haha. With a toddler and a 3rd grader, this summer was hell on Earth! I work from home so we spent a lot of this summer just the three of us and while the first few weeks were pretty fun things turned bad so quickly. So, so glad school starts soon, I so need this break!
