I’m a millennial, and I like to travel, explore new places and meet new people. So do my friends and many of my relatives.

But traveling can be hard on the wallet, and there are only so many friends’ couches and unreliable Airbnb rentals you can put up with. Sometimes you just want to stay at a nice hotel.

For travelers who feel the same way, we have some good news: the travel publication Cruiseable has just announced a rewards program that can save you up to $250 per year on your hotel bills at more than 400,000 hotels and resorts around the world.

Called the Travel Lovers Rewards Club, the idea came about when Cruiseable co-founder J.D. Lasica began taking more cruises and found that it was better to stay at a hotel for a night or two before the ship’s departure.

“We found that there were hotel deals to be had if you made the right partnerships,” J.D. told me. “This really is the best bargain in travel right now.” J.D., for example, recently saved $215 on a two-night stay at the five-star Conrad Hilton Istanbul.

By partnering with the wellness company SuiteBreak, Cruiseable is able to offer Travel Lovers Rewards Club members access to lower rates at more than 400,000 hotels around the world, including Hilton, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Marriott, Sheraton, Ramada, Hampton Inn and Mandarin Oriental, to name a few.

Members can join and try it out for three months for free. After that, the cost is just $2.99 per month or $29 per year. There are no other obligations, catches or gimmicks.

Here’s how it works: After you join, Cruiseable sends you a private url where you register. Members can use their computers or mobile devices to conduct searches on destination cities and sort by biggest dollar savings, biggest percent savings, hotel ratings and other criteria. As part of the program, you’re instantly awarded $250 in “Wellness dollars,” which can be applied to lower your hotel room fare. You can then book it online and lock in your savings.

It’s similar to online searches you can conduct at sites powered by Booking.com or Expedia — only the savings are greater in the Travel Lovers Rewards Club, thanks to wholesale agreements with pricing that can’t be displayed to the public.

Want to join the Rewards Club? Go to cruiseable.com/rewards to start saving on your hotel bills immediately.

Have a question about any of this? Shoot me an email at ryan@cruiseable.com.

PS: Send Ryan a photo of your hotel stay when you take advantage of Travel Lovers Rewards and he’ll post it on Cruiseable!

May all your travels be smooth!
