Finding wholesome after-school snacks for the fall season (or any season) that my sons and I both love to enjoy is not an easy task. We are all about flavor, but teenage taste buds are definitely different than my 40-plus ones! Recently, we’ve found some terrific snacks we all agree have just the right amount of taste and fun the we appreciate with Yoplait Greek 100 and Gogurt.
In my experience, teenagers are simply hard to please when it comes to snack time. My boys are constantly changing their mind on what is cool to eat, what tastes good and what they want in an after-school or on-the-go snack. I remember the days when they were little and it was so easy to cut fun shapes out of foods or to purchase something with a favorite character on it to keep them happy and satisfied at snack time.
While they have grown out of the cartoon character stage, the good news is they still love sci-fi and comic book characters, so when I found the Star Wars-themed Gogurt at Walmart, I knew it would be a win on packaging alone!
It’s also a huge win on taste! With flavors like “Cool Cotton Candy,” “Strawberry Smoothie,” and “Burstin’ Melon Berry,” I have no problem peaking their interest in enjoying Gogurt as a go-to snack. When we are super busy with after-school activities, that’s a true blessing to have a quick, easy and tasty snack on hand that totally fits our snacking criteria of fun and delicious.
For me, I need something that fits the same snack needs of fun and delicious, but I also like to have a good-for-me indulgence that doesn’t leave me contending with the guilt of too many calories consumed between meal times. Yoplait Greek 100 and Yoplait Greek 100 Whips are exactly the ticket!
