Back-to-School Hairstyle Fun with a Quick and Easy Twist to Braiding #QuickTwist

My cutie-pie granddaughter is enchanted with Disney princesses and since Anna and Elsa are her current favorites, she’s always asking for hair braids to emulate their style. As my daughter is a working mom, it’s generally a bit of a rush in the morning leaving mainly time to get dressed and eat a quick breakfast – leaving little time for time consuming hairstyles!

The new Conair Quick Twist Double-Strand Braider offers a great solution for creating a quick and easy two-strand braids on weekday morning or any time, so I knew it would be a fabulous edition to add to their hair styling aids.

With the push of a button, you twist and style hair into a super cute braid strand that can then be embellished with fun accessories that are included in the kit or with accessories you already have at home. The Conair Quick Twist Double-Strand Braider comes with plenty to get you started: 40 Scunci anti-slip mini elastics, 10 hair clips and 2 ribbons.

We put the Conair Quick Twist Double-Strand Braider to the test and found that after a try or two, we were able to easily master the art of quick double strand braiding. I do recommend reading the directions prior to using (seems like a logical step, but if you are like me and like to dive in, trust me when I say familiarity with the process will save you from trial and error… and when you are dealing with impatient toddlers, that’s a huge plus!)

To use, you simply gather up the section of hair you wish to twist, divide it into section and then lock the hair in place with the styler. Gently pull the hair taunt and press the button to twirl.

A second later you have a braided twist that can be secured with a rubber band, barrette or small hair clip. You can continue the process with other sections and clip them all together for a cute look or section off hair and make double braids all around. Whatever your unique style vision, it’s fast, easy and fun to complete!

This tool is terrific for creating fashionable hairstyles on busy back-to-school mornings and is equally handy for weekend fashion. My granddaughter also loves using the tool on her doll’s hair (which is not a suggested use, but it is a fun one!)

Though my granddaughter is a little old for this, I’m sure she would still think it’s a fantastic idea! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
