The ABC’s of Back to school Sara Lee and Little Bites Giveaway

Sara Lee and Little Bites snacks

If you have school aged children at home, you know the excitement and stress of going back to school. There are new clothes and shoes to be bought, a never-ending supply list or two, new teachers to meet and the very important part to any school day lunch and snack time. That’s why I was so happy when a representative for Sara Lee and Little Bites asked if I would like to share their ABC’s of Back to school  Sara Lee & Little Bites Giveaway! While I did receive a gift set just like the one Rural Mom is giving away today, all opinions and love of a good snack and plan are my own!

Sara Lee and Little Bites snacks

Sara Lee, the snack brand that most Americans know and love, is proud to announce their new, fresh-baked Brownie Chocolate Chip Cakes. These snacks are so tasty! They are filled with a double batter mix of brownies and chocolate chips. Just one bite and my family and I were saying Oh, goodness! These are so good; and since they are individually wrapped, they are perfect for the lunch box. I don’t think any kid will be trading these at school!

If you like making special snacks to surprise your kids after school, you’ll want to check out this video by Kathleen Robbins, the head baker at Sara Lee. She shows us how easy it is to make Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip snack Kabobs.

Lunch boxes with snacks

Entenmann’s Little Bites have been making people smile for the last 15 years. What I love about them is their snacks come in easy to open, pre-portioned snack bags that are recyclable. My girls love their brownies and muffins, and were very excited to try Little Bites New Party Cakes! These are little golden mini cakes with rainbow sprinkles, sure to please kids of all ages when they find them in their lunchbox.

Little Bites says where there are Little Bites Party Cakes, there’s always a party! #GoodToGo.  They are hosting a “Life of the Lunchbox” sweepstakes from August 1st through September 25th on the Little Bites Facebook Page.

I love that both of these brands know how important encouraging well-balanced meals and some fun treats are to families. Their pre-portioned, pre- wrapped snack options helps parents plan ahead when grocery shopping and getting ready for the morning madness. And it gives our kids the responsibility of choosing from a variety of snack options, making their lunchtime more fun and healthy.

The Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip Cakes are no longer available here in Grass Valley, CA. The stores say they can’t get them anymore. Does anybody know if there’s a way to order them at a reasonable price and have them delivered?
