Quick & Easy Slow Cooker Smokehouse Bourbon Roast | Stubb’s Cookin’ Sauces

Quick & Easy Slow Cooker Smokehouse Bourbon Roast | Stubb's Cookin’ Sauces
It’s always time barbecue and savory dishes around our farm!  As a Stubb’s Insider, I’m delighted to have the chance
to dish up the new Stubb’s Cookin’ Sauces and share my thoughts with you.

I don’t really need an excuse to use my slow cooker, it’s truly one of my favorite appliances in the kitchen.  There’s something so wonderful about prepping food and setting it to simmer to perfection while you go on about your daily routine.  With back-to-school around the corner and fall quickly approaching, I’m truly ready to whip up some savory crockpot dishes for our family to enjoy.

Just in time to indulge my joy of amping up our slow cooker dinner fare, Stubb’s has introduced a new category its product line –  Stubb’s Cookin’ Sauces, designed for creating flavorful, easy skillet and slow cooker meals.

Stubb’s Cookin’ Sauce Smokehouse Bourbon is the first flavor we invited in for dinner, opting to follow the crockpot directions.  With all-natural gluten-free ingredients that I can easy recognize, the kit contained a meat rub and a sauce packet.  All I had to provide was the sirloin roast.  I also decided mushrooms would be a fabulous addition to create more of a slow cooker steak tip meal.  Onions or red peppers would have been a great add-in, too and I’ll likely toss them in the next time around… because I’ll definitely be using this rich, smoky, barbecue-style steak sauce again! Our meal was bursting with gourmet steakhouse flavor and my whole family truly enjoyed the amazing taste.

I have to learn how to make more foods in our slow cooker. I think letting sauces like these simmer in there is a great way to begin.

My would love to try the Smokehouse Bourbon sauce you used to make that stellar looking roast. Then I’d pick the Hatch sauce.
