How Hot is Your Cool Gear?

When you spend a lot of time on the go, quality drink containers are an important necessity. But, trying to find the right mug or cup to keep your drinks hot or cold is not always easy. My ideal product is non-toxic, BFA free, easy to maintain and wash and functionally sound aka: the hot stuff stays hot, the cold stuff stays cold and everything holds together and words well.

On top of all that, I want a reasonable price and a stylish product.  After all, my water bottle and coffee holder truly are an accessory I’m constantly carrying.  Reasonable requests, right?  Apparently so, because Cool Gear has all these features and then-some rolled into a fashionable package!

I recently had the opportunity to test out two Cool Gear portable drinkware products – the Vortex for hot or cold drinks and the Cove for cold drinks.  The Vortex Insulated Coffee Travel Mug features a double wall 22 ounce cup great for taking to work, or anywhere on the go (or even at home.) This cup is BPA free, has a spill proof design, and is even top shelf dishwasher safe – a bonus feature I can truly appreciate!  Available in Blue, Pink, Green, or Purple, Vortex keep you looking cool, but keep your drinks hot.

The Extra Large Cold Cove Jug is made with BPA free Tritan material. Non-toxic gel filled freezer sticks will keep your drink ice cold no matter where you go, and with a flip top sipper cap, you’ll be able to drink your ice cold beverage wherever you go.

This bottle holds 64 ounces of liquid, which would be great for a hike, or a long car ride.  The handle grip is super comfortable, making it a great bottle to take long walks with. Available in Blue, Green, Pink or Purple, the Cove Jug retails for $12.99, and the Vortex Insulated Coffee Mug $11.99.

Bottom line, it has a wealth of ideal features, an affordable price point and the fashion sense to keep you looking cool with your hot or cold drink on the go or in your home.

Do you have a favorite insulated or stay cool cup? If so, tell us about it! Have you tried the Cove or Vortex cups? Let me know in the comments!

It is really important to me when selecting a drinking container that the plastic is safe and BPA free. I know some men that would love to have this extra large drinking containers at their side.

This gear looks great. I actually have a water bottle like this one that I take to work and I love it.

I have never tried these before, I happen to use a metal water container. I really like the size of this, 64 ounces of liquid goes a long way.
