Twelfth Day of Book Gifting | The Grateful Table

The Grateful Table

On the twelfth day of book gifting, Rural Mom suggests The Grateful Table: Blessings, Prayers and Graces

There’s no better way to end our Rural Mom 12 Days of Book Gifting Suggestions than with a lovely book of gratitude.  I’m certainly grateful for all the authors who pen such lovely, helpful books for us to enjoy and particularly thankful to discover The Grateful Table.

This contemporary book of blessings is segmented into daily reflections, offering you the choice of using it as a daily affirmation guide, a daily journal prompt or to absorb fully chapter by chapter for a mega-dose of inspiration.  Each day offers a new perspective and a new way to give thanks, leaving room for your own personal thoughts and words of gratitude.

The Grateful Table will not be housed on the Rural Mom bookshelf, it’s going to be front and center on our coffee table as a daily companion for our family use in 2014!

Book Jacket: What would happen if you sat down to dinner with the likes of Alicia Keyes, Jonathan Safran Foer, Drew Barrymore, David Lynch, Morgan Freeman, Sir Ben Kingsley, Alton Brown, Neil Gaiman, Deepak Chopra and David Foster Wallace? Fascinating conversation, without doubt, and one of the things all these folks have in common is that they -gratitude and what they have to say about it, which is a lot. All these thinkers and luminaries are in The Grateful Table making this a thoroughly modern book of blessings, both heartfelt and deeply profound.

I wish I was able to read more but with 3 kids it can be a bit of a challenge. You have a great resource there and I like the theme of this book.

This sounds great for me to check out over the holiday break when I have a little extra time.
