The Bouquet is a Lovely Cinematic Treat Just in Time for #ValentinesDay

The Bouquet

I always think of Valentines Day, not just as a holiday for lovers, but as a holiday that offers a terrific reminder to express your love for all those you hold dear.  As such, I like to find special treats for family members and friends to help brighten their Valentines Day enjoyment.

This year I was fortunate to find a perfectly heart-warming movie that I’m eager to share and gift because it so eloquently explores the powers of love, friendship, family, and hope: The Bouquet.

Available February 5 on DVD, the central theme of The Bouquet – “the importance of finding time for the ones you love” – is certain to strike a chord with all viewers, because we often seek balance in own our lives to just that and can appreciate the struggles and heart-aches of life’s dynamics.  It’s the type of movie where the messages stick with you long after the film has ended.

The plot of the movie revolves around two estranged sisters, Terri (Kristy Swanson) and Mandy (Alberta Mayne,) who are torn apart by their differences.  They suddenly find themselves working together towards a common goal in the when a tragic turn of events brings both women home.

A spectacular cast lineup, that also includes Danny Glover and Michael Shanks, offer endearing performances full of rich humor, romance, and memorable (sometimes tear-jerking) scenes.  It’s simply an all-around, feel-good movie that absolutely spells out the truths of L-O-V-E in a big way.

One additional reason I truly enjoyed watching this film is the focus on the florals.  I’ve always loved the beauty of flowers and floral arrangements and The Bouquet is absolutely chock full of nature’s splendor, plus some fun insights, too.

I wish that I had the opportunity to share a viewing of The Bouquet with my mother, but as we live in different states, I won’t have the pleasure of doing so this Valentines Day.  I take comfort though, in being able to send her this lovely movie, knowing she will receive much joy watching it with her friends.

Whether you choose to gift a loved one with this gem of a movie, or gift yourself, it will certainly be a memorable treat!

The Bouquet will be available on February 5 via various retail outlets and online stores, including Amazon.
